I’ve driven up that way many times during marginal snow level situations. Closest drive to some elevation in these parts.

That was a good day. Actually the coldest day of the month here. 30/19, we had wind whipped snow by evening. The next few days were actually some of our warmer days of the month, with some wet snow at night and rain during the day. Then on the 16th, we had a pretty significant wet snow event, 6.5" fell with temps 33-35 the entire time.

Can someone explain a convergence zone with lightning that just produces light snow? This smells  fishy.

There was significant bump for snow in western Washington for first event.

Check out the lightning flash density on the Euro. There is a potential for some thunder snow where the PSCZ sets up.
