I always feel like Costco is a bit of a rip off. Unpopular opinion. I know.

For those of us in single-person households, it typically is. Not much value in buying a super extra jumbo size of something if most of it will spoil before you can use it. Exception can be in the case of a major purchase. I once bought a Costco membership just to buy a set of tires. Costco’s price was so competitive that the membership more than paid for itself with that purchase alone.

It's called clown range for a reason.

It is totally a rip off if you shop there like it’s a Safeway. Membership costs have definitely crept up but they seem to be in line with inflationary ratios. Plus the perks side of their Citibank card is pretty awesome. We pay for just about everything on it but thanks to Dave Ramsey’s verbal abuse we pay it off immediately. We’ll end up with about an $1100 rewards check this year. Going right into the egg account.

With the Executive membership there’s a lot of programs people aren’t too aware of as well. We had to do some digging but we found a $750 manufacturer rebate through Costco when my wife bought her last car. The sales guy (named Jesse!!!) said people rarely use it for some reason.

Pretty warm day.  It hit 57F degrees, currently 56F.  The low this morning was 39F and the low tonight will be 43F.  Lots of clouds to the north starting to fill in all the blue sky that dominated through the afternoon.  This morning was all gray skies with some decent wind gusts in the morning.

56/32 today. Tulips are starting to come up.

My unmolested grass is starting to get uncomfortably long all of a sudden…Though I worked at a golf course for nearly 10yrs so my definition of long is most likely different than most lol!

We have a card but only go there for specific things. Doing general shopping there would be expensive and wasteful. But you can’t beat the prices on tp 🧻,paper towels, stuff like that.
