Maybe I’m weird but I’ve always liked the early sunsets. The long evenings can be cozy. On the flip side I’ve always enjoyed the super late sunsets on the opposite side of the year too. I enjoy dynamism when it comes to daylight length throughout the year. To me it would be strange living at a lower latitude where daylight length and sun angle are more uniform year round. I realize this is just personal preference though.
Need to see mean trough position offshore for a wet pattern. Not sure we are due for anything though. Southern parts of the region have been very wet recently.
It's not warmer than normal... but mean trough position is to the east across the northern US and that is a dry pattern for us. I never said it was real warm. But it has trended much less troughy over the last couple days.
Well the EPS hasnt exactly covered itself in glory the last few days in terms of precip forecasting, so this map means less to me than it usually would. I think were due for a heavy precip streak and models are false starting trying to get that pattern going
