Yeah... you had the big storm that ended up going north of here.    Lots of storms to the south and a couple to the north but no direct hits here in between.   Just a few small events.

All going well to the south now and I don’t expect to get any more this season. Can’t really complain. Overall, it’s been a VERY good winter up here.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Looks like Burns, OR picked up 6-8" of snow overnight. Then they actually turned to rain for about an hour this morning and bumped to 37. Now down to 34 with west winds gusting to 40mph.

Sounds like some GREAT winter weather in the GREAT basin.

Stay tuned since June snow ain’t unheard of there!

Big fat flakes!

Nothing up here this morning.  Really not much precip at all. Just a bit of drizzle and light rain.  Suns breaking through now

Taking the trailer out in this was not a good idea, but I made it.

Just perusing the 12z Euro. Tuesday is looking interesting with some anafrontal qualities in NW Oregon and the WV.

Thursday is looking like a good bet for our first completely sunny day with 50+ temps in a while. We go back to troughing quickly after that though.

Overall a cool and wet run. Over 3” of rain forecast for PDX between now and the 20th.

we've wetbulbed at 30.  Heavy Snow.  probably 1"+ hour rates for the last 30min.  Almost enough to overcome sun angles as asphalt is starting to get slushy.  have probably had over 4"to 5" on grassy surfaces and concrete driveway/sidewalk

EPS looking solid. That’s a pretty hefty dip in the long range.

We are at 68.5” on the season and over 17” for March. Could be a golden opportunity to pad some of those stats. Top 5 cold March could be on the table here too. The mountains are getting blessed beautifully too.

it has, but lots of missed opportunity for something top shelf

There’s always going to be room to focus on wanting more.

I did some angry digging into Spokane’s winter stats just now and I was surprised to see they haven’t been any higher than 48 degrees since November 5. That’s got to be getting close to some sort of record for them I’d imagine.

I think we're forecasted a 51 next week.  will be the first since early November.  January and most of Feb still felt somewhat wasted.  it is what it is

wind has shifted to the West, temp up to 31.  snowfall rates are down some.  Asphalt melted off quickly, still piling up on grass and driveway.  curious to see how long this goes.  If we can get to late afternoon/evening, accumulations should pick up in earnest again.
