My least favorite event would definitely be the 10/15/16. Models promised something epic, the NWS put out a warning for 60 mph gusts region-wide. Even the most conservative of mets were on board. Then nothing happened. It was blustery, PDX gusted over 50 which was nice. But it was a letdown.

 

Oh, that windstorm on December 14 this December is up there. Because now that passes for a great storm down here.

Least favorite. Event? Not sure. Least favorite weather: Fog storms. 33 degree rain. 100 degrees with no T-Storm trigger.

This one's easy for me. The December 2013 Dry Arctic Blast. It was one heck of an Arctic Blast and to not even get anything out of it, sucked really hard. Just a waste of very cold Arctic air.

Least favourite event seems like a hard question to answer. Easy to wipe stuff from your memory. Last February there was one night where there was no snow here and close to a foot about 40 miles north of here. But honestly, those type of events are pretty common for everyone in the PNW lowlands. Lots of micro climates, and complicated setups when cold air gets involved.

That was ridiculous. I know people were talking about wet-bulb and evaporative cooling but that was so far out.

That much hyped windstorm a few years ago that was supposed to rival the Columbus Day storm where I believe I had a gust of 25mph and a leaf blew off my apple tree was not so much dissapointing as it was almost comical.
