The high will build into central portions of the Great Lakes on
Sunday. Aloft flow will gradually become westerly/southwesterly,
which will advect warm -25 to -15 degree air into the region.

Correct o Mundo! Progressive and moves east but near term is a weeee bit better could still improve. Let’s see what the ensembles say. This is fun! Might have to break out the snow wiz approved model rider.

I will say this. Going into this pattern I'm more confident than I was at any point back in December. I think we'll see some improvement on 00z GEFS.

Seems like the models the last 24hrs have been keeping heights lower in Alaska than we’d like to see. Going to be tough to tap into the good stuff without the ridge nudging up into Alaska.
