The euro snow maps are not that great, during the 2019 event the wrf was the best snow model out here. But i got much more snow than any model showed. -

That has become my biggest complaint about the ECMWF. It does great with other surface conditions but you just can't trust the snowfall maps now. Almost always overstated.- 1

December 2025 Observations and Discussion
I believe the GEPS got an update a few years back. It has its moments now and I believe it's got a decent handle on the upcoming pattern. Let's see what happens.
