ya I agree with you. I suppose the past two seasons have made me cynical over our ability to get big snowfalls near sea level. Yes you are right, clear and cold is much better than 50 degree rain =)

Weren't you like 60 during the February 2014 snow storm up here.

 

No, in February 2014 I did have some snow when you guys had your snow storm. I think I had 2.50" in 1 or 2 days (which I believe was the whole months total) early month. Towards the end of the month I had a short stretch of mid-50's to mid 60's, long after your storm. 

 

Wasn't the snow storm 6th-8th ish of February?

The block on this run is epic both in size and intensity. I would bet good money it's much more anomalous than the December 2008 block.

It could be around for a long time.

It was chilly, but was not as cold as Decembers 2000, 2009, and 2013 nationally.
