Would be a pretty big waste of potential for some decent rainfall, and a chance to avoid another hideous smoke filled late summer. The GFS, GEM and ICON all made that abrupt shift from showing that rain to basically nothing now by keeping most everything offshore. Unfortunately seems unlikely it is just a GFS hiccup.
