TT-SEA
OMG!! Are you serious!? What about week 8 in 1987 and some time before that!? I am not sure you know what your talking about. Requiem
Monday's storm is looking very fun. A while out, yes, (but still within 10 days) but EURO and GFS show a strong signal for a powerful low-pressure area. 2 Quote "Let's mosey!" --Cloud Strife ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Top 5 Snow Events (post 2014): (1. TT-SEA
Point is you were counting them out too early on in the season #bandwagonfan No. I take after the brutally honest East Coast fans. No sugar coating. And I go through WAY too much stress during the games. My wife is a bandwagon fan... strutting around in her Seahawks gear for 6 months with absolutely no idea what is happening in the regular season. Literally no idea. Then ramps up her interest in the playoffs and finally ends up claiming to be their biggest fan ever when they make it to the Super Bowl. Saw it two years in a row. She does not even understand the concept of "bandwagon fan" even though she defines the term. But I love her anyways. Though it does look like a promising AR setup. Yeah I mean theoretically what it is showing is possible. Those are about once every 5-10 year type 24 hour totals here. We had 6.69" in a 24 hour period in November 2006 and 5.39" on 1/18/2012. Probably wont be quite as intense and this far out the location of the heaviest range will likely move around a bit. 1 Quote Snowfall Precip 2022-23: 95.0" 2022-23: 17.39" 2021-22: 52.6" 2021-22: 91.46" 2020-21: 12.0" 2020-21: 71.59" 2019-20: 23.5" 2019-20: 58.54" 2018-19: 63.5" 2018-19: 66.33" 2017-18: 30.3" 2017-18: 59.83" 2016-17: 49.2" 2016-17: 97.58" 2015-16: 11.75" 2015-16: 68.67" 2014-15: 3.5" 2013-14: 11.75" 2013-14: 62.30 2012-13: 16.75" 2012-13: 78.45 2011-12: 98.5" 2011-12: 92.67" It's always sunny at Winters Hill! SilverFallsAndrew
The FV3 has two AR type situations. The first one is way further south into N. California and just light/moderate precip in the PNW with reasonable snow levels. The 2nd is a bit further north and not as juicy. Definitely not as apocalyptic. luvssnow_spokane
This GFS run gets pretty close to getting good. I'm liking the trends.I will like really the trends when they actually shows something more than “something close” that we see at least 3 or 4 times in the models every winter.
