I don't know, I saw an awful lot of red over us on each frame that was chosen.

Not true. Just showing your anxiety again.

And side note... I usually show the 5-10 and 10-15 mean which covers the entire 5-15 day period.

Maybe you could invent and patent some kind of protective covering for cedar bough tips so they don't get sunburned?

Nope. Cascade, Idaho. Reserved a vendors spot at the farmer's market there.

At least the weather should more consistently fit your preferences out there. Probably hard to get much in the way of cloudy and wet in the summer I would imagine.

I checked their averages for fun. Average summer highs in the low 80s, with chilly average lows in the low 40s. Makes sense since its almost 5,000' elevation there.

July and August each average around a half inch of rain. Mostly from thunderstorms I would guess.

What do you do? Sell organic garlic?

The Crouch-Garden Valley area not very far to the South of Cascade is only 1,500 feet lower but seems to be in a significantly warmer micro climate. It's amazing how micro climates can determine weather outcomes.

I make signs and vehicle graphics.. In Cascade I think I'll be doing a lot of t-shirts and wood signs. Why did you think I sold organic garlic?

I was just joking. I knew you moved to Arizona and then you mentioned a farmers market so I thought about something you could grow in Arizona and sell at a farmers market. I actually had a friend who moved to Central Oregon last summer and had this scheme to make a living growing and selling organic garlic at farmers markets. Then he found a job and I never heard another word about it.

Quartzsite is a little too hot for me in the summer, had a decent season there though so I'll be back in October.

Just some drizzle today and some more light rain on Friday and that is it for the week...I wish I was retired and could just stay home and work in the yard.

And now precip has blown up over the north half of Willamette valley...

Some places may see a few hundredths.

Blown up!

I am just thankful for a single dry day here. It was mostly sunny this morning and now some high clouds this afternoon and 59.

Looks like some rain here the next 4 days... but then maybe a nice weekend. The last two weekends have been pretty miserable.

Rain stats for North Bend for 2019... already about 3 times as much rain in April as all of March.     And the last day with no measureable precip was on April 4th... quite likely that the next 0.00 day will be on Sunday (4/21).

Friday afternoon/evening was pretty nice up here and then yesterday was pretty decent though chilly until the rain rolled in around 5-6pm. Glad I took a 3 day weekend, Saturday was a total dud.

Ahhhh... good catch.   Missed that one.

I said since March 10th.     Almost every morning through March 10th was below freezing.

Yes... I said there has been only one morning below freezing since March 10th.

We haven't been below freezing since March 26th. Would be very rare to get through April without a freeze. I'll have to check and see when our earliest last freeze on record is. I think it is March 20th or something like that.

I was way off, the earliest last freeze of the season was April 23, 2018. Median last freeze is May 13th, so pretty good chance we will have one in the next few weeks, especially since it looks to dry out a bit.
