June 2019 Weather Discussion in the PNW

He probably has tried, but then he bores them with his unintelligable diatribe of Pacific Decadal Oscillation.

Not going to lie. Im a pervert and it doesnt float my boat.[/quote

Weird thing to post but I’m a bigger pervert and it does nothing for me. Maybe we can have a house party with the AAM-PDO/-g force with a little buster in the BSDM?]

I love that Baffin Island ridging, man. As long as that beautiful block holds firm up there, the 4-corners high will be weak and equatorward. Perfect case of destructive interference. Also cuts off the looping conduits through which the 4CH may establish and sustain the longer said blocking continues.

Is that dreaded vortex regime finally dead? If so, then maybe we can look forward to a change in the winter climatology as well (since the new RWB structure will mean less +PNA/+TNH..also will lead to a drop in the PDO, for those who care about it).

The thing is, the PNW can be very warm in the summer without a big 4CH and with Baffin Island ridging. See 2009.

Not liking Mt. Scott Josh it whoever he is. I was just trying to play his game for a change and of course it gets all construed to a sexual preference. Hmmmm, maybe he likes the Tonys in the wall?

And the statesman journal weather pages tacked on the wall. Yes, gents, I did that. When Mark Nelsen couldnt drink.

Be careful, he doesn’t like those filthy millennials...

Anyway, to be serious I’m almost 90% sure he’s the ever elusive Dome Buster reincarnated on here.

Anyways, tomorrow in central Oregon looks to be a repeat of today and then a brief cool down for three days before the inevitable heat we will be seeing until kid September or so. Bring on the sunburns and high electricity bills.

Dont forget the bikinis. Gets my 3 turning into a 4.

Whether you like weather or weather or just whether you deal with the weather, you either like weather for whether it’s good or whether the weather it’s bad. That’s why we all weather the forums right? I love the weather whether it’s good weather or whether it’s bad weather. Love being here guys. Goodnight.

Leading meteorologists such as Cole Danomaly can confirm that troughs are indeed fun. Flat ridges are pleasant, but boring.

Like Phil Collins said. I dont care any more!!! Dont care what you say!!

$1200 is a lot for a phone.

Yes it is. And it’s a wonderful phone. I was previously using a 6+ so it was time for an upgrade. Grateful I was in a position to get one.

I’m also enjoying the sexual jokes along with references to weather forecasters, some of whom were on in ancient history when I moved up to Oregon.

That’s not a Baffin Island ridge. That’s a ridge over the North Pole.

A very important distinction during fhe warm season.

I don’t think I have it in me tonight, man. It’s 350AM out here and I need to hit the sack.

Though I have to say, given what I just returned from, the commentary in here is hilariously ironic. I’d say more but I think I’m still under the purple haze.

GFS looks hott next week. Euro not so much, but the EPS appears to be a notch or two warmer than the operational.

Glad we will be getting a soaking rain between now and then, in any case.

yeah hopefully this wet pattern squeezes out as much precip for OR and WA as possible.

57 here currently. Snow levels are supposed to be around 5k feet and highs are supposed to be on the cool side. Definitely a bit cooler than normal for June here as well which isn’t suprising since there still getting snow back in Montana which hasn’t happened in awhile apparently.

Nice morning in the s valley as the clouds are beginning to come in from the approaching system.

Headed to the central WV to see my family so I’ll see how the profile looks for half the valley.
