joelgombiner
Based on surface obs, the arctic front took about 6 hours to travel from Hope to Abbotsford, a distance of 90 km. 90 km/6 hours = 13 km/hr. I think this is slower than originally projected. At this rate it would take another 17 hours to get to Seattle (224 km from Abbotsford), but I suppose it was held up by the low center during the day and will now accelerate southward? snow_wizard
The NAM is looking bit more like the Euro on showing some snow south of Seattle Monday evening through early Wednesday. The first feature is the low tracking across NW OR Monday evening and then a small disturbance that tracks inland over SW WA for Tuesday night. This is looking like a solid prospect for snow in areas that don't do as well tonight. 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies!
