TT-SEA
You've said it's a pretty disappointing climo, too. So? One is an objective fact... this month was pretty close to the long term average for my area. The other is a subjective take on climo. June is my least favorite month in terms of climo because I want it to be more summery in the summer. But that is not how it works here. Lots of people on here don't like our climo in the winter and wish it was more wintry. Oh well. Because you can't just say it's been a climo June without also adding in how disappointing it is means you're off pace with our native vegetation and climate. If you truly didn't have a problem with climo you'd be feeling neutral about this month. If a hot June is the only June you can appreciate you can't expect to be happy most June's. You also seem to have a problem with springs that are at least close to normal in terms of rain and cold. Even soupy humid conditions can be a problem if it isn't sunny enough and that's in April.

I expect to be disappointed most Junes because I recognize that that climo here is not as summery as most places. If I really don't like then we can move. It does not change what actually happens. Factually... this was a pretty typical June here. The rest is just feelings. I wish I could live somewhere that was slightly too warm and dry for my liking and watch things slowly cool and get wetter. You can think what you want but you did choose to live in a super wet microclimate with convergence zone after convergence zone then throw it in our parched faces as if you're disappointed. Timmy Supercell
06/29/2008 was a nice t'storm event for the PDX metro. Hit my area in Hillsboro with mammatus and anticrepuscular rays during sunset. This was a few months before my first camera so I couldn't take pictures. Interesting too that it was overcast the whole day, we usually need hours of sun to get a good storm. I guess it was just humid and warm enough. 1 Quote Ashland, KY Weather '23-'24 Winter Snowfall - 5.50" First freeze: 11/1 (32) Minimum: 2 on 1/17 Measurable snows: 4 Max 1 day snow: 3" (1/19) Thunders: 21 1/27, 1/28, 2/10, 2/22, 2/27, 2/28, 3/5, 3/6, 3/14, 3/15 3/26, 3/30, 3/31, 4/2, 4/3, 4/8, 5/4, 5/5, 5/6, 5/7 5/8, Severe storms: 2 ------------------------------------------------------- [Klamath Falls, OR 2010 to 2021] https://imgur.com/SuGTijl
