63/59 0.04” so far today. We were a little too far SW for the thunderstorm activity this afternoon. Was fun to be at work and just suddenly be under a storm. We should be getting some rain this evening though.

This band of heavy rain and lighting has been very consistent. I wonder how much rain has fallen in places like Port Townsend. They have been getting hammered for hours by this.

That’s actually not as much as I thought. I thought there would be some places with over an inch.

To the far east, the Camas Prairie is under a severe t-stoem watch for wind and hail.

Heard my first boom since this morning... getting closer. We get tstorms frequently in the spring here so itd not quite as exciting or rare as western WA. Still interesting as long as the hail is tiny or non existant.

Midnight high of 63.3˚F here. Has not been above the 60 mark since daybreak. A most unusual temperature plot for August!
