Every model run for this weekend is just another outcome that won’t happen exactly because it’s basically impossible to forecast this sort of thing exactly

The thing is we've had many legit chances with this and will have for the next two days.  At least so far it's been a case of if we didn't have bad luck we wouldn't have any luck at all.

Yeah, on the I-5 webcams just looks bare and wet to me. Might just need heavier precipitation later in the night and this might just be rain coming.

My son was at Snoqualmie Summit today and said conditions were awesome.   He also said he rescued an 8 year old boy who had accidentally skied out of bounds and went into a deep hole with a creek running underneath.   He said everyone was freaking out and screaming and waiting for ski patrol to rescue the kid but jumped into action because he thought it might get worse before the ski patrol arrived.   I guess the kid's parents were so thankful.

The WHAM went higher than modeled and Mid-Atlantic weenie index went too low so the PNW got cold. Oops!

Phil was actually rescued from an icy creek this afternoon by Tim’s son. His mom is so grateful.
