The rest of April is going to be cold and wet. I can feel it in my bones. Couldn’t buy any sort of sustained -PNA in the winter, no problem for April however! Could be one of those years where we struggle to get above 70 until July 5th!

I could not help but LOL when he did that.  Par for the course...

We had an eclipse in Atlanta when I was in 5th or 6th grade and it was the exact opposite.  We all went out side with strict instructions to not look at the sun, and all the teachers had pinhole cameras and pointed out how you could see  the eclipse in shadows cast by leaves on the trees. 

I didn't really think too much of this one until I realized that this is the last eclipse I can reasonably expect to see in my lifetime.  I'll be in my 70's then and while I sure as heck hope I'll still be walking the earth then, that's getting on up there. 

So with that, I had a little FOMO, but it sounds like it is going to be an absolute sh*tshow with traffic, no doubt all the rude "me first" jackwagens will be out in full force, so I'll just go about my day here at home.

If we're still kicking we will probably head down to Weed to see the 2045 eclipse. My wife is inheriting a shack down there, so we can watch it from our hovel. 

By then I will be two days shy of my 61st birthday, my wife will be 56.

Willamette Basin snow pack bumped up to 113% of average. Harney basin is now at 169%, Owyhee is at nearly 200% of normal. Incredibly blessings for a much maligned region.

First it looked ridgy... then it looked like it troughing would be focused to the north... and now the models have come around to more of the same with that system diving down to SoCal next weekend.   Crazy model swings the last few days.
