I didn't know there was modern Psychedelic music floating around until a few of his songs played on it. There's many different styles of instrumental. Last few years I've predominantly listened to Electronic (a lot of which is more upbeat/uplifting), tons of styles of that too. New Age, Ambient, Lounge/Chill, Downtempo. Etc. I can't remember what year I last listened to an entire rock album. I was all rock in High School, now I listen to things without vocals. My iTunes playlists looks way different now than 10 years ago.
