I remember this day. It was a shocking moment back then when i was living in NYC. From 50s Thanksgiving Eve to a snowstorm the next day. This storm broke records, as it was the first Thanksgiving Day snowstorm since 1938.

Really like this rain. Ive had 5.6" in 20 days. But in truth its a near total waste. My business needs rains April 1st thru Oct 15 for grass and the 100s of hunting plots we do to grow. Instead its dry 80% of the time. Long dry spells with a occasional wet week, becoming so rare in growing season. We also need precip in Dec Jan Mar when icing requires salting or plowable snow. Economically this is a waste. In fact we cant even go anywhere off the hard surfaces without risk of rutting and getting stuck which is preventing us from doing some types of work. Crops need rain in march and april more than this. We just had our worst Oct for mowing in 17 yrs. 1 mow per customer. A joke.
