Yeah that would have been rough. Battle Ground had 19.93" of rain, so nearly 2" wetter than December 2015 which was their next wettest month on record. It did snow here once that month so it objectively still was better in that department. Regionally 1991-92 also had the October snow event in Fraser River outflow areas. I don't think this season has had any measurable snow under 500' west of the Cascades which is very rare for this juncture of the season. I know YVR technically recorded snow in November but that seems pretty dubious.

I still think time is of the essence. We need to get it done sooner than later.

Whatcom County had a stalled Arctic front in December 1980 that hit them pretty hard. South of there it was nothing.

We sure had that in Feb 1989. Bright sunshine and it didn't even make 20 on a couple of days. Roads that were in the sun all day were still totally unmelted in the afternoon.
