Holy fog batman... visibility is like 3 feet here. Can't drive more than 5 mph coming up the hill.

No fog here. But it was drizzling on the way home. It was a decent sunny day though.

It appears any kind of snow/cold is out of the cards this winter.

Just accept it. :(

I'd still love a good storm.

Look on the bright side! At least we have 5-6 months before the wildfire smoke, water shortages, and 95 degree days set in.  :)

Windstorm was nice, but it wasn't as bad as it was up there (thought it was supposed to be the opposite). If only the HRRR showing 70 mph gusts in Downtown PDX was right...

Or is it low solar Nino climo...

But yeah, I don't think the SSW hurt, but there's still not much evidence they do anything consistently for the PNW. Increased NH blocking (-AO/-EPO/-NAO) just more consistently gets the East cold. Without something forcing -PNA, it doesn't do much for most the West. Other than shut down the storm train.

The SSW seems like the single dad that’s always promising to take his kids to Disneyland but they always end up just going to Red Robin. Except in 1989.
