westMJim
Here at my house I recorded 0.48″ of rain fall. It warmed up into the upper 70’s overnight but with the last round or rain it is now down to 75 with a DP of 70 here with clear skies. At the airport the last report was 78 with a DP of 74 and cloudy. The worst of the storms should be to the east of 131 today and more so the more east one is. Bryan1117
Ended up with a storm total around 1.75 inches of rain in Southwest Omaha. Overall not bad here, right in line with the forecast. The storms never truly reached severe limits here, even though the wind speeds were close at times. Didn’t see the widespread damaging wind gusts after the initial storms either, which wasn’t a bad thing. Still saw some tree branches and limbs down around my neighborhood this morning and have heard of a few scattered power outages. Still have a deep moisture deficit to make up, however this rain was very welcome especially with another dry pattern incoming. Very thankful that the record-breaking string of 9 days in a row to open June above 90 degrees is over!

westMJim
A new record high of 97 was recorded at Muskegon. This was not only a new record for June 9th it was also the 2nd warmest high for June at Muskegon just behind the record of 98 set in 1995. While Muskegon is on Lake Michigan it can get warm there with a east wind and yesterday there was a SE wind. At Grand Rapids the official high of 93 tied the record set there in 1964.
