Alabama losing late...

Wow. I think college football really screwed up with the playoff. Absolutely no one I know cares. I'm a huge sports fan and I forgot it was even on. By January 9th we've moved on to the NFL playoffs.

I watch most sports when they're on.  Been caught watching curling late at night waiting for the snow in the streetlight.

Wife thinks I'm a bit obsessed with my hobby, but I just tend to it well.

I think lots of people in the south are watching!

Its an incredible game... after two duds in the semi-finals.

Not confident lowland snow tonight (not sure if anyone is). Power has been out here all day, looks like it has been snowing all day and 31-33f. Started with about 6" and an inch of ice looks like about 10" now even through 6-8" has likely fallen. Everything is drippy even with it dumping snow. Wet snow to about 1000" on the way up the hill but wasn't really sticking until about 1200' under a heavy shower. Sloppy mess!

Bama loses!!!!!!   How sweet it is.

This means UW was even worse than we thought.

Yeah... all bad games from an outsider perspective.

And I just cannot care about any game involving either Houston or Miami.

Yes.

In the top 4 and certainly fared better than Ohio State.

This was a shoot out... someone had to lose and it was probably going to be the last team with the ball.      This game does not reflect bad on either Alabama or Clemson.   Just love to see Saban lose.

No.

I think UW is primed for some regression next season. They were a year ahead this year and a lot of times those teams take a step back the next year. By this I mean 11-2 or something along those lines. USC is poised to dominate the PAC-12 next year.

USC looks dangerous and probably the top pick in the PAC 12 but then maybe they will regress as well with the pressure of expectations.

My brother is reporting ice pellets falling up in Nanoose Bay now that the flow has switched to easterly; I sure miss living up there for snow events. This is looking quite promising for the Nanaimo-Parksville-Qualicum area. There's still plenty of moisture around and plentiful nearby cold to wedge through it and bring snow.

I may need to start a go fund account for the folks on the other side of the Cascades! Their highway keeps disappearing

Hope the cities saved enough money for a rainy (snowy) day to stay on top of this mess!

32.2 and no longer trending down. How does it know just to stop at the critical point!

My wife says we won't have snow because we don't have a snow sky.

I told her to go to bed.

You won't believe how often I've heard that in t'storm season (even here in K-Falls).

"It doesn't look like thunder later, I'll wash the car and take the kids to the lake" (pays no attention to the forecast)

"Holy $#!T huge storm! No one saw that coming!" (maybe the weather guy and I saw it?) ;)
