North Bend WA. :)

Down to 53 now... after a high of 64.

We have some crazy weather extremes out here. We get buried in snow last week and then end up much warmer than everywhere else this week.

I love the east wind aspect of this area. Keeps it much colder when it counts (when its snowing) but then we also get these dry, warm interludes as well.

Tomorrow is forecast to be MUCH COOLER :)

Clearview is awesome for snow.  I used to live a bit south of there and would drive up during c-zone snow situations.  I'm guessing they might average 16 to 18 inches per winter there.

I'm really curious how much my area averages.

I'd guess being at 500 feet just North of the King/Snohomish County line I probably average close to a foot per winter, but I'm really not sure.

Everett Snowfall (510 feet elevation)

Snow since February 2019: 91"

2023-24: 6"

2022-23: 17.5"

2020-21: 14.5”

2019-20: 10.5"

That's probably a good guess.

You will be mowing soon!

I mowed the evening of December 30th, I would not see my lawn again for 19 days

Bainbridge and Snowwizard brought this up earlier in the week. Morning run of the WRF shows a marginal chance of snow this weekend? At least something to watch.

Seattle will only get cold rain the rest of the winter according to Dome Buster aka Forecast Buster

Finally sent the grader out to push back the snowbanks here. Roads should once again be 2 lanes wide. Pretty slow getting to it, but I guess the local school complained because there wasn't room for the school buses to get past each other.

Same thing here last week... but that was sort of pointless in the end since it all gone now except for some of the huge piles they made.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Karl Bonner had a great Facebook post about the first half of February in The Dalles. In short, very cold.

Cold and damp here tonight. 37F with moderate rain.

Where's Phil these days. Looks like we may be looking at another strat warm and possible PV split. He usually loves analyzing these things.

I'm still here.

Ideas haven't changed, still like one more shot late February and/or early March.

Amazing depth to the western trough.   Those people headed to Cabo for the long weekend from Seattle cannot outrun the rain... even way down there.   In fact... Seattle is in a better position to be dry than Cabo.

Yesterday had a 56/31 spread as I popped out of the inversion when the clouds rolled in. Temp bumped up to 57 at some point during the night too. Now 49 with moderate rain.
