It's currently 34 here.  Snowed a bit around 11, but nothing.  Apparently it's dumping snow in Duncan and all around, but just not in Victoria.  I hate to say it but I'm almost certain the NAM will get this one right.  

 

Yeah, pretty pathetic here, last night's GFS nailed it, the low dry-slotted us then jumped south rapidly. We ended up with a sloppy trace that's quickly disappearing with the sun/dry air. Funny enough the 12z runs went back to showing a bit more here.

Sun came out here. Weird how it doesnt seem like the snow showers are really moving to the north.

 

 

Its not going to move north.   The low is starting to pull it all southward.   Of course now the band that buried Randy has fallen apart so there is not much left to drag through King County.

Its not going to move north.   The low is starting to pull it all southward.   Of course now the band that buried Randy has fallen apart so there is not much left to drag through King County.  

 

I meant that the snow showers that are to my north aren't moving anywhere it seems right now.

Looks like the southern deformation zone is getting more active.   There is some heavy snow creeping north towards Jim!    So interesting that there is so much snow to the north and south of my area and nothing at my house.   That rarely happens.

Will Klamath Falls ever have a ground accumulation above 3" inches this season? I mean, I believe it is totally normal in an average season for there to be close to half foot all at once on the ground here between December and middle of February. The most I measured at once was 2.6" on 12/02. And the total for the season so far is standing at under 7".

I had about 0.2" earlier and now a heavy snow band is CREEPING northward toward me.  Web cams show this is producing rather heavy snowfall.  Moving so slow is good in the long run, but the wait is agonizing.

Looks like it's 37 now. Not sure why the outside thermometer and the weather station near me showed 39-40 but it's clearly 36-37, you're right.

Looking fairly confident now that snow will happen on Tuesday night somewhere along the I-5 corridor. The EURO has been amazingly consistent.

      I thought the rain had ended last evening, but more showers (a narrow band) popped up and trained over my area. Ended up with 2.28" total rainfall yesterday. The evening showers actually had the highest rain rates of the day. It's getting soggy and the local river is actually flooding a little, for the first time in probably a couple years!

      The official H/L yesterday was 76/47 there was 0.17” of rain fall. The highest wind gust was 36 MPH out of the S the sun was out 54% of the time. For today the average H/L is 65/44 the record high of 87 was set in 1938 and 1955. The record low of 26 was set in 1971 and the most rain fall of 2.03” was in 1919. The most snowfall of 1.3” fell in 1954. Last year the H/L was 58/40. Here in MBY I recorded 0.51" of rainfall. The overnight low here was a warm 60 and at the current time it is 61 with some light rain falling.

      The front has moved through the area and temps today will be about 15 degrees cooler than yesterday with highs near normal in the upper 60's. We turn colder than normal for the weekend with high temps struggling to escape the mid 50's for higher spots and upper 50's in lower locales. It will be cloudy with some showers possible most likely on Sunday into Sunday night. We warm back up again by the middle of next week before we cool back down for the week of the 12th with a stretch of below normal readings. Chester County records for today: High 95 degrees at Phoenixville (2018) / Low 28 Devault 1W (1957) / Rain 3.00" Devault 1W (1985)
