gabel23
Watching the news I have seen trees and power being affected by this storm. Biggest total I have seen so far is 7 inches around friend which is in Fillmore county. I had my first teaching job around that area and we didn’t receive crap for snow back then! Minny_Weather
I don't think I need to say this, but we beat our record snowfall today. Cuz, well, this is the first time measurable snow has fallen on October 14th. Quote Formerly *ahem*: LNK_Weather, TOL_Weather, FAR_Weather, MSP_Weather, IMoveALot_Weather. hlcater
Just had a period of light snow/flurries, not much, but better than nothing as it checks my personal first flakes box. Minny_Weather
Flurries falling again. Still hear dripping from the storm gutters. Flash freezing should be a problem tonight. I'm staying off the roads until after rush hour tomorrow. 31.6°F. Quote Formerly *ahem*: LNK_Weather, TOL_Weather, FAR_Weather, MSP_Weather, IMoveALot_Weather. Hawkeye
Even when the better radar returns passed over Cedar Rapids last night, I still only saw a few flurries. CentralNebWeather
I would say the Nam pretty much nailed the axis of heavy snow for our area! Yes, NAM for the win. I kept hoping for a north bump to my area but didn't happen. I got about 1 inch at the most. We will see if this is the model of choice for the upcoming winter months.
