00Z ECMWF is much drier than its 12Z run. So many moving parts next week though with a non-stop supply of ULLs just blossoming out of nothing makes me think it could easily go back to wet.
Here's March-April-May in Newport Beach:
2 back-to-back years of cooler springs than normal is not climate change.
A rise of ~2.5 degrees over a 100-year period of record is.
The new pattern is troughing over California non-stop all of May and June followed by development of the 4-corners high in early July with a quick transition from winter to summer and no figs on fig trees.
Jacarandas which used to bloom in May, pre climate change now wait until July to bloom.
