I'm on your turf today. Indeed it is miserable.

Last day in Ohio. I leave in the early morning tomorrow. Pretty nice out. 84.0*F.

Mother Nature just zapped the old Sears Tower this morning, yes, I know another corporation bought it and took it over but the name "Willis Tower" doesn't jive with me...

ORD closed the month +5.1F degrees above normal with 4.40" of rain (+0.95")....warm and wet month, although, it was certainly hit or miss across the state.  Parts of E IA/MN/WI got hit pretty darn good towards the end of the month.

Nothing impressive severe wise, but we're getting a good soaking tonight at least.

Widespread 1.50-2.00" across the Lincoln area.  The line of storms quickly pushed through Omaha, but it stalled and trained through Lincoln.

For the second time in a week, this morning I was awaken by rain and had to rush outside to put the gauge out.  It's not too heavy, but I've received a couple tenths so far, which makes me happy because it filled my rain barrel.

Ended up with about 0.75 in the rain gauge last night and early this morning from the line of strong thunderstorms that pushed through the Omaha area.

June 2020 will go in the books as very hot and mostly dry around here. Our temperature was 6 degrees above average through the month, and we ended up about 1 1/2 to 2 inches below average in rainfall. Hoping these trends can change, however the extended forecast looks to continue with the hot and dry weather in this area  :(.

I ended up with 4.43" of rain in June. That's a nice amount but still below 'my' 30 year average and less than many places all around me by just a few miles. If it wouldn't have been for Cristibal it would've been very dry here this month.

My June rain total is 6.79".  All that rain and barely any thunder.

This 70F+ dew point is a joke. How can anyone live in this stuff on a regular basis? I can stand almost any heat. But humidity is a different story.

I grew up in Houston. This is the reason I no longer live in Houston.

I don't mind this weather to much as I don't sweat a lot unless I'm working physically out in it and there's not much wind. There's just a difference in people. Some like summer while others like winter.
