We have a 2nd day of 60% chance of rain. That means it won’t rain. Not sure why they even make these statements.
High of 83. Sunny.
Low(er) dewpoints/nighttime lows kept the anomalies in check out here. Airmass advection was straight out of the west that summer (as opposed to the typical south/southwest) so moisture was limited.
Probably why the 1988 severe season was so lackluster. Ring of fire convection stayed north most of the summer, and downsloping westerly flow likely killed most home-brewed activity.
