MR.SNOWMIZER
Did anyone is western Washington experience sudden strong winds lastnight between 2am and 4am? Unfortunately you pretty much need to be a millionaire to live there. It’s in kind of a geographical goldilocks zone a la Cle Elum, Leavenworth, Truckee/Tahoe where it’s just far enough east of the crest to have an eastside temperature profile but far enough west that it is well outside the heart of the rainshadow. Always enjoy the drive up Highway 35 from Government Camp to the Gorge.

SilverFallsAndrew
Okay, one more SLE stat, but I think this is the most unbelievable... January 13-14th was the first time since December 1990 SLE has had two consecutive highs of 24 or lower. Which in itself is pretty ridiculous, but SLE always seems to manage to overachieve on high temps. The more ridiculous stat... Unless I completely missed something this was the first time they've had consecutive highs under 24 (or 25) in January since 1950. It was stronger wind than I had when the Frazer winds were going at the peak, whatever it was it was impressive.
