It was a 12 degree hellish non white landscape that was definitely vomit worthy! Even the vegetation was pissed off! 🤢🤮😀

Yes but you also like boating and warm summer weather. So you are above reproach ;)

Thank you for providing an objective voice of reason here. I notice this sort of hypocrisy all the time but don’t even feel like it’s worth pointing out anymore.

Everyone from Olympia to Skagit Co was puking a lot during that Puget Sound bone dry stretch while people to the north and south were scoring!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Would have been cool to see Graphcast pulling ahead of Euro, but doesn't appear to be the case yet.

The delta between the two is always going to be small unless the Euro-Graphcast uses a higher resolution orthograph, abandons the iso-to-grid, or goes into 2 week+ territory.

You can initialize it with GFS and you can retrain with the same high res iso-orthographic polygons that the icon uses, but that requires 4k v5p TPUs over two weeks.

Nice.  Go ahead and puke 400 times a day if that's what you want.  That seems like a personal problem and I feel empathy for you then.

But there is no hypocrisy in pointing out the high usage of puke react.    And no idea how you define hypocrisy.   That would imply I am puking on every post but calling you out for it.   You are the negative reaction champion by a wide margin on here.    I rarely use them at all.

Where was this when Randy puked to every snow map that didn’t show snow for him? 🤨

Those were clearly for the most part puke-worthy, at least in the initial parts of the cold snap. All people of quality and taste find southerly trends nauseating.

And any accusations of bias on my part will be met with a puke react. Consider yourselves warned.

I just asked the image generator to “Paint Tim from the Seattle weather forum like one of your French girls”. It seems to know your real feelings about weiners.

Still 60 at SEA... but looks like the rain might make it to Seattle before midnight which would prevent setting the record of 4 consecutive days at 60+.    It would have to happen before dawn tomorrow if its going to happen.   ECMWF shows an afternoon high in the mid 50s.

Just checked, now we're up to 93 subfreezing lows, 11 lows that got below 20 (not including the lows below 10), and 14 lows that got below 10. Pretty surprised that there has been more low temps below 10 then there has been between 10 and 19.

On February 23rd-24th there will be a widespread snowstorm from Everett to Medford. Mid to south Willamette valley and South Puget Sound will get the most snow though, both ending up with a minimum of 11 inches, the region will have 4 subfreezing highs from the 24th-27th, and the night of the 26th-27th afternoon will drop a widespread few inches, then we will slowly warm up as the cold air filters out, no overrunning event. Then from March 4th-29th there will be a long stretch of mountain snow, and cold rain in the lowlands, bringing the snowpack up to 150%.

Edit: and in April there will be some type of poison from bugs that will wipe out all palm trees in the pnw, they will be all gone by spring 2025.

I’m sorry to all of the weather extreme haters out there…But this is awesome!! It’s not even that common to still be at 60 degrees at 10:30pm on a July or August evening…So amazing!!

Still 60? That's insane! 51 degrees here now, pretty rare to be this warm at 10:40Pm in winter. Kinda weird because 3 hours ago it was 37.

Atleast I'm saving firewood with this weather, I unfortunately didn't get as much as I usually do, so I was worried I'd run out by March, but it seems like I'll be fine.

How does one not that long ago go from preaching about how they don't worry about emojis and people using them and then become someone totally infatuated with them and have to post incessantly and psychotically about what emojis are being used.... again, just asking for a friend.

Good night all.

So cute Chris.   Always trying to "get me".   😀

None of that happened of course.   I said a couple years ago that I never looked back at the reactions to my posts.   Still don't!   And didn't post obsessively about it today either.   I made the totally obvious point that the puke react is filling up every page.   You would have to be completely blind to not notice that.  Don't even think it's happening to my posts but is to everyone else talking about the current weather.
