This webcam is on the south Shawnigan Lake road.  We have nothing here at the north end.  That area was bare and wet 45 min ago

Sticking snow is still being driven by precip rates though.  It’s 35 and raining lightly here just to the north of this webcam.

A chilly 42/34 day here. It really is remarkable how cold each afternoon has stayed since Friday. Each day has had a chilly breeze and textured, steely grey clouds with very limited sunbreaks. Just wish we’d had a bit more snow to show for it.

I love how slow moving this shower is.  It's almost here now.

This will go down as an impressive late season cold snap.  The coldest air is yet to arrive.  It really began on about Feb 26 with just a one day break.

Yeah, I’m pretty interested in how low temps work out starting tomorrow night. I’m sure the main stations like PDX and SEA will disappoint but other places could put up some decent numbers.

Looks like some more widespread coverage is developing in SW WA and lifting north. We’ve got a few more hours to go. Comical miss here but the night is still early for some of us who haven’t scored yet.

SEA can do ok with legit cold air masses which this will be.  Looks like we will pull in a bit of continental air as well.

PNA might take another dip later in the month…Perhaps a late March 2023 redux!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Only 33F down here now. Most of our precip came in the form of hail with just a brief bit of snow at the end of it. Still enough to make everything turn white.

The ground is getting white already.  Looks like a mix of snow and graupel now.  It's supposed to freeze later tonight so this is a good time to get it.

It was kind of a two step warming like the January one.

I don't much about it other than SSW events lead to cold here almost every time in recent years.   And you posted a chart a few days ago saying it's safe to say this was the final warming.
