We don't have mid January conditions until late April, there are some buds on trees, grass starts greening up and growing slowly. Amazingly hardy plant. Also, for whatever reason in 2020 it started a second bloom cycle in Nov/Dec. Has done so each year since. Haven’t the slightest clue as to why, but it adds some flavor to the otherwise dead/dying landscape at that time of year.
