Temps don't look too impressive back there. A drop in the bucket next to the completely historic torching they've posted for the first 2/3 of the month. Nice for them to avoid an all-time bad snow season though. The last cooler than average month for MSP was April 2023.

Cascadia_Wx
Well the worst is over and now we have this thing mostly in the rearview mirror. Of course temps worked out in a way that even the most caffeinated of warm enthusiasts would hardly dare draw up. Five straight 70+ for PDX, which ties the March record. A post 5pm record high for them on Sunday even after it looked like we were out of the woods, and an impressive, late blooming peak of 77 yesterday (also a record high). Both without any help from offshore flow. Saturday hit 75+ too of course, so three straight 75+ for them. Only their second time on record to see that in March. Squeeee!!! The sunshine was nice and I have been outdoors plenty since Friday, but good lord, it seems like every time we even touch a ridge these days this sort of thing happens. 2 1 3 Quote Summer grows while Winter goes
Cascadia_Wx
Not to mention the nauseating slew of daily records/all-time monthly records up north. The Quillayute number was demoralizing. I’m going to focus on the fact that VUO put up a relatively reasonable and impressively spready: 71/36, 76/38, 75/38, 74/39 the last four days. Neat to see them recover into the 30s every night despite afternoons in the 70s, and peak at 76 on Saturday with a slow cooling trend afterward even while PDX continued to ramp things up. 1 3 1 Quote Summer grows while Winter goes
