I would hang with anyone on here, despite my antisocial tendencies. Even Jesse, I think he's too afraid, but I bet we'd hit it off.

I think Jesse would be fun to meet in person. There’s some really cool people on here. I almost met up with @MR.SNOWMIZER once but I was up hiking and didn’t see he was in the area until after id left and got service. He seems like a cool guy wish I had gotten the opportunity to meet him.

As I sign my annual flood insurance policy renewal documents... I can't help but think with all the other BS that has gone on the past couple of years, this is probably on the docket in the next year or two...

Overall decent trends across guidance. ULL cuts through the ridge followed by offshore height rises. Let’s keep that trend going. 🙏

Its rained for the last 3 months and we are in the midst of a 2008 or 2010 type summer at best... meanwhile the middle of the country and the SE are going through a nightmare summer.    But yeah... we really need prayers up here.    I am sure the people in Texas are praying that the Seattle area can avoid as much sun and pleasant weather as possible.   😀

Plains ridge has produced lots of NW flow here. Which is a nice change of pace since the last several summers have had a trough in the plains and ridging on the coasts.

And NW North America needs a troughy summer more than anywhere after the last decade.

We are probably the last place in the country that needs prayers at this point.   👍

North Bend is a rainforest oasis.

Will be a blessing come late July and August when everyone else is spontaneously combusting while you’re lounging on your deck on a sunny 75°F afternoon, sipping margaritas. 🍹

I doubt anyone in western WA and OR will be spontaneously combusting this summer.    I don't remember that happening in 2008 or 2010.

Side note... North Bend has the same average summer temps as SEA.     And we are warmer in the summer than most places north of Seattle.   So I am praying that Mt. Vernon does not burst into flames when its in the low 70s there most of the summer.    Western WA and Oklahoma are both in the same dire situation.  ;)

No but the rest of the country likely will.

I think WA/OR could be that small island of light blue in an ocean of deep red from CA to NY.

But this thread is mostly people in western WA and OR.   So thanks for your prayers.    Please encourage people across the country to pray for us too.  Its really important.

Pray that all rain happens during weekdays while we're stuck in the office or during nights and early mornings while we are catching our Zs and that every day of each weekend is sunny and warm or every weekday that has enough daylight hours becomes sunny and warm after we get out of the office.

Also pray that the government would find money to build large gray tents with endless mist, fog, and spray for people who want it rainy all the time.

Tacoma donut hole strikes again!   Its been drizzling most of the day from Seattle eastward.   Starting to break up now.   It was actually much wetter than I was expecting in the EPSL today.

That’s about what it’s doing up this way, too. For a sun-lover (or even a non-rain-lover), Tim’s climate sucks.

Nah... I knew today was going to be gloomy in the Seattle area.  Classic c-zone signature shown for many runs.   The models have shown it for over a week.   This trough is also in the process of scouring out the marine layer completely.

We had 80-degree sun yesterday while it was cloudy everywhere to the north.     And the next 6 days will be almost wall-to-wall sunshine here.

SEA is only at 62 at 3 p.m.    Basically no sun there today so far.

PDX is at 77 and BLI is sunny and 67.    Not a favorable day for the central Sound.   Its been much nicer in every direction.

GFS for next Wednesday... summer everywhere on the North American continent and yet somehow winter in western WA and SW BC.    Once again Juneau is way more summery than Seattle.   😀

Started out pretty crappy this morning, and was pretty "warm" and muggy last night, with "warm" being in the context of the rather coolish spring we've had.  The sun popped out around lunchtime and its been pretty nice since then.

Our last few years in Maple Valley I was back and forth to Tacoma a lot due to parents health issues. I definitely noticed it was often sunny in Tacoma while cloudy in MV.

Lol, the GFS is unable to cut off that ULL next week, so it spontaneously creates another one out of thin air.

Temps starting to rise in the central sound to the mid 60s now as the marine layer erodes and more sun reaches the surface. Could clear out soon.
