Flurry party!

And everyone's invited! Though I just had a temp spike to 22.8...it's great watching snow fall and not look at my thermometer and see it reading 34.1! I cannot tell you have many times I have seen that during slushfests of the last several years! I would always get super excited when it would drop to 33.6!!

Very light snow here... cold air is effective at squeezing out available moisture.   This reminds me of a typical winter day in MN.   6 inches of snow on the ground... lightly snowing... 18 degrees here.

Too bad this is not Christmas weekend.   ;)

Just woke up to solid flurries here in Mountlake Terrace.

The side of the roads are actually starting to get the lightest possible coating of white.

Yeah... I am slowly accepting that after 2 weeks of snow and cold here it might well be raining with a bare ground when we have family at our house for Christmas and the days afterward.  Of course it makes logical sense from a pattern evolution perspective, but I was holding out hope that we might sneak in some snowy fun still when it really would be nice.

Tim is having a razor blade party. Go there everyone is invited!

His month long snow will start slushing up tomorrow...I would be sad as well.

Dumb.   Just talking about the upcoming pattern.   Wish it was different timing... that is all.    Time to move on.    I won't be throwing hissy fits like some other people.

I wouldn't give up on Christmas just because of one 12z GFS run...00z Euro would have you white!

00Z EPS mean was not as favorable and the control run completely went off the rails last night for Christmas weekend.
