Quite a bit of model support for tomorrow morning and yet no met has said anything about it. Interesting.

Mark saying dusting at most. Maybe wet flakes. Check out his new blog post

East winds still gusting close to 30mph at Troutdale. Weren't offshore gradients supposed to completely die once the front passed earlier?

Even HIO is still reporting 33 with calm winds. Onshore flow still seems quite weak and hasn't done much to moderate even the areas in the metro away from the gorge. Hope we can get a surprise tomorrow morning.

44*F SSE 18 G32 at BLI Pouring rain

32*F NNE 8 in Lynden light snow

10 miles difference. Temperature profile in Whatcom County is WACK. I don't get this setup. So if the low were 20 miles further south would outflow be to Bellingham or what? I feel like a 3rd grader again when it comes to Whatcom County weather. My brain is mush.

Did Heavy Snow/Acrtic Blast join Jim in the forum boycott? Or is he out making ice angels?

He's been MIA for days...I don't think he could stomach the ride anymore.  Can you blame him though?  This last month has been awfully turbulent.  Perhaps Wednesday's event will bring him back from the brink?

I needed some time off because the model riding was making me exhausted and I was barely getting any sleep. Now, I am fully refreshed and ready for some more snow. I got about half an inch of snow this weekend and lots of ice.

33.5 here this morning with a dewpoint of 33.

Enough to thaw things out and ensure school will be on time but not enough to melt any snow.   :)

South wind reached SEA overnight... it was 42 at 2 a.m. with S15G26.    Now that wind calmed down there its back down to 37.

00Z ECMWF showed weak offshore flow returning this afternoon.     Radar does not show much right now up here and it should stay like that most of the day.

Snowing hard here at 500 feet in Gresham. I wasn't expecting this.

If you'd been reading the forum last night you would!

12z nam says at least southern Oregon and Bend get some much needed snow!

The NAM has consistently shown most everything going south.

Good thing Mark finally lowered highs for later in the week. There's just no way Friday gets up to 30.

MOS guidance said 24 for PDX on Thursday ;)
