What did you end up with then?

I know this event is definitely looking more widespread.

If you're talking about 12/1/05, I think he got like 20 inches or something ridiculous.

Ended up with 5" on Bainbridge.

Everett Snowfall (510 feet elevation)

Snow since February 2019: 91"

2023-24: 6"

2022-23: 17.5"

2021-22: 17.75"

2020-21: 14.5”

2019-20: 10.5"

2018-19: 24.75"

You still missing out? Picked up 4" here this afternoon.

Yep, it was no trouble getting below freezing once the NE winds hit, but this location seems to destroy moisture. Enough snow fell to cover non-paved surfaces with a thin layer and that was the extent of it; the humidity is still at 91% and I can see very light snow falling but getting anything substantial still seems to be beyond us.

I can even put into words how wonderful this is. It has been so long. My heart is breaking for snowwiz though. :(

Thanks for that.  It's almost straight snow now.  It's coming down so hard it has managed to turn the ground a little bit white.  The temp just refuses to drop good here.  At least it's below 34 now.

This entire event will be in the 32-33 range for most people.    It will drop below 33 soon there.

Still nothing but rain here.

I'm amazed you've had so much trouble getting snow there in recent years.  I remember being envious of big Arlington snowstorms many times in the past.

FINALLY!!! Good God it is so hard to get it to snow here. Really coming down good and quickly accumulating now. Winds have shifted to NW on the East Hill of Kent so the colder air is finally going to be able to work its way in.

I've been pacing like a caged animal for the last hour waiting for this to happen.

Get outside and enjoy it, brother. Go for a snow walk.

Wow, sorry. Everything is white here and moderate snow. Took a drive to Warm Beach and Lake Goodwin, snow already starting to cover the roads up there and Warm Beach at sea level already was closing in on 1"!! About a 1/4" here so far at home at 300ft lol!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Snowing hard here as well... warm nose must have been pushed east.   You could watch it happening on traffic cams progressing from I-5 to 167 and then Hwy 18.

We had 1.5 inches when I left an hour ago to go pick up my wife from work. Just got back and we are at 2.5. Definitely coming down extremely hard here. Temp still holding at 32.

Lots of schools closing for tomorrow.

Having a tough time getting more than light snow here.

You can see the Western edge of the deformation band really start to weaken over the last half hour or so. It will be interesting to see if it fills back in or starts to slide off to the East.

Have about a half inch on the ground here now.

The further east you get from Puget Sound the harder it has been to get CAA with this.  I would think Arlington will turn just like it did here when the low gets in the right place.  Cold air has been able to easily seep southward down Puget Sound from Bellingham.  It takes a while to spread east from there.
