catnip
Very strange... some lightly falling wet snow here but just drove down the hill and went through rain at around 600-800 feet and then heavy snow down at the valley floor and sticking. Much heavier snow at 450 feet than up here. Not sure how... thinking maybe warm nose?Karma

TT-SEA
It really has seemed out to lunch in regards to this whole event. It wasn't until this morning/early afternoon that it started to show the band more northward than just over Portland. It also showed switch over not happening until 8-10PM, which is obviously wrong. It never does well with precip type or snow totals. But there does appear to be a back edge on the coastal radar now. Who knows though... could easily stall in place too. snow_wizard
Looks like about half of the moisture will be through before it finally really sticks here. Later when the wind shifts to NW in response to the low it should kick in good here. I'm definitely disappointed with this part of the event.
