HighlandExperience
Its not even close to being cold enough to matter though... there is no cold air available. All this does is prolong the wait until we get some sort of dry break. YA at this point we just need dry sunny weather. Moss is everywhere. All of this rain is ridiculous. Phil
Daffodil alert here in Maryland, too. This despite lows dropping into the teens/20s on a regular basis over the last three weeks. I’m telling you, sun angle is 90% responsible for when these guys wake up. They always come up in February regardless of the temperature. Even in February 2015 when it was -5*F with -30*F windchills for a time, these guys were springing to life. 2 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=

Last year we were WAY behind this year. The grass was still dormant last year at this time. Weather plays a huge role in the timing.
