Front Ranger
True statement. 58 degrees with rain is not close to normal PNW summer weather. Front Ranger
I hear the PDO is actually still negative around OLM. Speaking of OLM...since KOMO breathlessly ran that article yesterday about Seattle having the "hottest July ever" since SEA set a record for average high temp, let's look at OLM. July 2018 had an average high of 82.7. Not only did that fall easily short of 2015's 83.3, it wasn't even close to the record of 84.3 from 1985. And it was miles away from the all-time monthly mark for average high, August 1967's 86.7. Quote A forum for the end of the world.

Front Ranger
This area is really pretty... very wooded and lush green. Its been very pleasant as well with highs in the 80s. Had over an inch of rain yesterday with incredible lightning and thunder in the early afternoon and yet 90% of the day was sunny and warm. It would be pretty awesome to get rain like that at home and still have most of the day be so nice and summery. It's been much cooler than normal there. You're lucky to not be experiencing their normal heat/humidity. Quote A forum for the end of the world.
