Front Ranger
Would it feel different than 60F at 2500ft. No idea what he meant by that...the air is thinner at this elevation, so more UV rays get through and can burn you easier, but I don't think it feels any warmer than lower elevations - especially considering the air is often drier. 1 Quote A forum for the end of the world. TT-SEA
Moved 7 yards of rock today by myself... driver said it was 20,000 lbs. It is in the upper 60s here today. I sweated a little... but very much enjoyed the sun. It was not an unbearable inferno. This is when pile was half gone already. Went with a low maintenance Arizona look for the new garage landscaping. That area was perpetual mud. Should be better now. And we can park the boat on the side of driveway when my kids want to use the garage for their parties... and not get the boat stuck in the mud. The good thing about rain this time of year too is it is so light it can't disrupt outdoor plans. But it CAN help our fire situation going into summer. The good thing about rain this time of year too is it is so light it can't disrupt outdoor plans. But it CAN help our fire situation going into summer. Sure. Must be an Oregon thing. It rained 32 days in a row here from mid-May through mid-June in 2010. Unless you are a duck or a slug... it can impact outdoor plans here. Many Memorial Day weekends and graduation ceremonies will agree. Even the 4th of July can be impacted by rain. It was pouring rain here on the morning of the 4th in 2016 as we packed the car and headed east to Couer D'Alene. Not saying I don't want some rain each week though... because that is ideal.
