Oliver
Fwiw, heavy rain here in downtown Seattle. Also, wonderful placement of the CZ for the metro area that doesn't normally see it, but I think Jim might actually need to be put in a home if he is so deluded that he didn't think it was deteriorating. I've never registered for this forum because you guys are painful to read, but I hit a breaking point tonight. Brennan
Bellingham definitely did not get 3” of snow tonight... at least anywhere within city limits. I have a friend in Sudden Valley that got 3” and my parents place got just over 2” on the NW side of Lake Whatcom (near Geneva). Here in Ferndale it’s 19*f with NE wind howling. We got a coating of snow that would probably have measured under 1/2”... north county here might do well Thursday. Looks like a classic overrunning snow to rain event.
Oliver
It's obvious the models have underestimated the c-zone. It's way more robust than was progged at this time.Dude I honestly think you should seek help. I've watched you for a couple years and even when we have actual results to compare to the models, you still are completely out to lunch. It's only snow man, it's not a huge deal. If you genuinely believe that things are outperforming tonight and are that worked up about it, I truly, honest to god, genuinely support you seeing a professional. If you want to PM and have me help you link up with some people, I would be happy to! I know you have your heart in the right place. Honestly, if you even want a ride to any appointments, I would gladly drive you! Just let me know.

Brennan
This is incredibly rude. I was just trying to help a good person in need. Get out of here with your rude commentary, my goodness. I feel so unwelcome. You are obviously new here, and your message to Jim on a public forum which he has moderated for over a decade, and has known many of us for over 15 years, was extremely rude and ignorant. To think you’re going to make a difference and help someone “you think needs serious help” by making a public post calling them out is looney and totally insincere. And to say “it’s just snow it’s not a big deal” is also rude and undermines who Jim is at his core. He loved snow more than 99% of people love their I-phone, and that’s saying something. Don’t ever come on here and tell someone that “it’s not a big deal.” People live for this stuff man... go seek to counsel the millions of grown men who play video games all day in their parents basement and live in an artificial world. There are plenty of forums out there for those crazy lunatics who actually need help. Someone who loves and enjoys snow, who clearly is emotionally driven to being probably over optimistic when there is any potential for snow, does not require professional help.
