10-15 day mean.... this looks like some EPS maps from last February.

ecmwf-ensemble-avg-namer-t850-anom-5day-

I was just about to say the same thing. Given the agreement among the other major models it seems like this could actually happen. Let’s still wait a few days before getting excited so we don’t jinx it again.

Tacoma WA elevation 300’

Monthly rainfall-3.56”

Warm season rainfall-11.14”

Max temp-88

+80 highs-2

+85 highs-2

+90 highs-0

I also don't think a weak southward push will screw us this time. The EPS was insistent on keeping the last brush with arctic air mostly to the north. Not this time.

If you get a dusting, I'll at best get some slush on my car windshield. This maybe my second melting slush storm of the winter. I've yet to see a pure, unadultered snowflake to fall on my property this winter.

With that half inch we got on the morning of the 13th(I think), eagle creek didnt see anything. The elevation is lower there, maybe similar to yours.

I enjoy his enthusiasm and what he has to say even if it’s unlikely to verify.

i can appreciate the enthusiasm part, but his desire to become the anti-Tim it gets old fast. When he starts criticizing everyone for not listening to his enthusiasm that gets annoying. at least Tim has climo on his side.

Dewey deactivated his account while I was gone? I guess he really did love me...

Hopefully he comes back at some point. I enjoy the salty old bugger. We missed you too. Or at least I did.

He was suspended and I think under protest he banned himself.

SEA is just about to 8 inches of rain on the month... and that area has been the dry spot.

OLM is now at 14.31 inches for the month.

Just crazy rain this month.

Do you think we will see something before the 13th?

I have never missed an event here in my 43yrs of life...I’m really getting concerned at this point. I’m hoping we get nailed before the 16th and then go though a week of little to no notable weather but stays cool while we are gone....Kind of like last year after the big event of the 11th.

There are more info if you go back a few pages. But he was suspended for a few reported posts that some may have perceived as a threat (perhaps not understanding his sarcasm) and I guess he ended up deactivating his account. Hope he comes back soon.

On a lighter note, good to have you back though. Been wondering about ya.

The snow mounds are still quite tall here in Skykomish. Currently heavy rain with an occasional positive splats and 36 degrees.

Sorta ironically enough the whole "tim must die" stuff was always a tongue in cheek defense of Tim, though I can understand how newer members would be confused as hell about it.

What a shame. Hope he returns soon.

ECMWF:

EPS:

ecmwf-ensemble-KSEA-daily-tmin-tmax-ecmw

And the usual disclaimer for the 12Z runs... the charts end at 4 a.m. on the last day and that is the high temp through 4 a.m.
