Under most circumstances there’s almost no predictability to the weather beyond two weeks. Just keep that in the back of your mind when reading everything here. 

An SSW is obviously a juicy one that is going to draw interest but until it gets into the two week window it’s anyone’s guess what it is going to do.

It’s so freaking damp here that it didn’t rain and was mostly sunny today and yet my driveway and sidewalks didn’t dry out in the slightest. Still soaking wet.

It was like that during the day here... but the east wind has dried everything out this evening.   Of course its going to rain again soon though.

Same. Christmas Day was sunny/upper 50s and the street somehow stayed wet all day, from rains 2 days prior.

Moist El Niño airmass, I guess.
