The EPS control is noticeably faster with the cold than the 12z.  The mean is about the same.

You can see it smoothing out towards climatology after 15 days or so. Completely useless

Just got back in from my afternoon route. There are 40 new pages.

Can someone summarize? Is it over or is it locked in?

Neither, but the majority of ensembles look good so I'd say it's more likely than not, going to get cold.

It's more meaningful when it's less than a week out.

Snow and chilly temps for Western WA. A few drunken slushy snowflakes for Western OR. Maybe a bit of freezing rain.

It's within NWS point forecast now! This is for just north of Bellingham with a forecast high in the mid 20s next Friday. I still have my doubts, but I'm starting to get a little excited.

Really is a lack of talent over here in Central Oregon between local meteorologists and the NWS in general.

It's hard to forecast with zero radar coverage. If I was a meteorologist, I wouldn't want to be there.

I’m trying to remember the last time the weather was even as interesting as today’s breezy with occasional rain squalls. Nice to have turned a corner and be looking forward to some potential excitement.

How nice would it be to finally have a blast that takes care of everyone from BC to the California border. I believe 2004 was the last time that happened. I will give ginormous hugs to everyone if that happens. Probably won't though.

So true. WU is at least believable.

In fairness to @Parrot none of the locations show on mobile except if they are part of the signature. All the locations appear on tablets or labtops.
