Euro coming in a bit south at 36 hours.

Every mile south will make a difference.  It could be snowing at your house and 2 Miles south it could be a mix or just rain. These close call events can be crazy like that.

Wouldn't be surprised if they end up cancelling class on Wednesday as well, or at least delaying it.

But I live south of the 49th parallel 😞

This run looks a bit snowier up here, I think.  Not quite as crazy as the Canadian mesoscale models though.

In a case like this will it snow in the Gorge as you go further east?

Yeah, the cold air is deep enough east of Cascade Locks to start out as snow, and gets deeper each further mile east you go. Looking good for 8"+ in Hood River.

Up to 27F currently. Yesterday we saw another 6 degrees of warming after 10:30 am so it might be close whether I can pull off a 4th sub-freezing high, but the high clouds might keep temperatures down a bit. Probably will end up with a high around 34F if I had to guess.

@Cascadia_Wx here's another tidbit for you. Salem set a record min/max yesterday with their high of 24 besting the previous record of 25 set all the way back in 1907. This was only the 2nd cold record they have set in January since 1980, the other being a record min max in 2004. They have not set a record low minimum in January since 1980, still need to work on that.

Almost half a million for a 700 square foot condo. With a $200 monthly HOA. It could be yours.
