What company are you with? I used to work for Regence but have worked for Premera the last three years. They have been super good to me with great benefits and a pension. The system sucks but I'd be lying if I didn't agree with you 100%.

Property and casualty insurance but my experience is the same. Do good work and they take care of you.

McDonald’s coffee is okay. It’s fairly strong for something you buy at a fast food place. I cannot drink Dutch Bros, it just takes like hot water to me.

A blended mocha from Dutch bros is pretty good on a summer day. I'd never go there for warm coffee.

Yeah it’s the simple things though. One thing I always try to do is have time for a good cup of Biden in the morning before work. Sit out on the porch and feel the morning air. I’m not into deluxe coffee, but I get why some folx are.

Wow, I knew you hated biden, but not so much that you blend him up and make coffee out of him!!

I really love wet periods this time of year. Everything is so lush and green/blooming, and the way the rain smells. The contrast of brooding dark skies and a vibrant landscape. Totally different vibe than rainy periods October-March.

I agree. I love to hear the water dripping from the leaves. We aren’t fully leafed out yet, but in a week or two we will be.

Heard a lot of that on my walk last night. That, and I was probably hearing the forest bloom in real time as millions of leaves grew and slowly brushed up against one another on a massive scale, making for little pops along the way. There was no wind, no rain.

Rain in May and June is really soothing... totally different sights and sounds.    I have so many videos on my phone from years past.

I just don't want it happening all the time... like May and the first half of June in 2022.   A little too much of a good thing.  😀

I actually took a short video of the moistness on my property last evening, the dripping sounds were amazing!

Depends who you're asking. For my location, the stronger the better, because we don't need an arctic outbreak to get snow.

Not so sure about that. That time frame for 2024 somewhat reflects the lingering winter pattern.

The past month hasn't been as warm. Certainly not as warm as April 2010 was. You'd think if the anomaly pattern represented the "summer pattern establishing" it would be growing stronger as we get closer to summer, not weaker.

30dTDeptUS.png

You can’t just look at one month w/rt the establishment of seasonal scale patterns. There is too much intraseasonal variability at that timescale. Especially with ENSO transitioning.

A lower frequency approach is required, no way around it.
