00Z UW-WRF is 3 hPa lower than the 12Z run, 981 hPa at 4 AM around landfall. Similar to 18Z Euro. PDX-BLI gradient of 15 hPa or so. In 2006 that was 22 hPa. The 4 km doesn’t seem to have wind above 40-50 mph in the south Sound which is a bit surprising to me. We’ll see what the 4/3 km says in a few hours. Models seem to agree that it goes basically right over Hurricane Ridge to BLI but pressure also falls in the lee of the Olympics.

I'm not sure I would give up on it that easy. It does look far south though.
