Yeah, I was thinking this has been very reminiscent of November and December 2006. Big rains floods and a historic windstorm (if the windstorm actually happens). It SNOWED in January 2007!

The NAM sucks more than a day or so out. We’re not out of the woods but am feeling better than I was 6 hours ago after seeing the 12z guidance. We had our 1 in 20-year windstorm from the Mountain Wave event Nov 2024 here in the foothills so I’m done with wind for a while.

Hopefully it’s right but…it’s very weird that it just completely dropped that solution after I think 4 or 5 consecutive runs showing damaging winds. The other models were starting to come around to it as well. The EPS also dropped off the solution as well. Hard to say.

And the hammer drops on 31st. Arctic front crossing Seattle at 1159 PM. Starts dumping come 2026. Lock it in
